Cryptids of Colorado
Skin Walkers- According to Navajo people there is a common kind of Skin Walker that turn into a coyote.
Mini T-rex (aka “River Dino”) - Small Dinosaurs that still rom southern Colorado 3-5 feet 7 feet long
Tommyknockers- Said to be tiny green, old wrinkled men who live in mines. They are good luck and warn miners of possible cave in. Most mines where never sealed to allow the Tommyknockers out in hopes they followed to the next site. not hear the Tommyknockers was a bad sign they have left you to a ill fate.
The Slide Rock Bolter- A huge land whale like creature that lives on mountain slopes waiting for unsuspecting passing prey. Eats animals & people by sliding down the mountain consuming everything in it’s path.
Thunderbirds- Huge birds that are part of the Navajo tradition, said to have formed the grand Mesa.
Sasquatch- There are more sightings in Colorado than anywhere else in the country. A Sasquatch Crossing sign was put up in Co Springs, in 1990, due to the high number of sightings.
Estes Park holds an annual Bigfoot Days festival in April.
Oh and here is a strange article I found from the Rocky Mountain News 11/1/1880. Sounds like they are describing a sasquatch to me!?!
